Where do i enter interest from a checking acct

If you received a 1099-INT from your bank, you enter this by clicking on the Federal Taxes tab > Wages & Income > scroll down to Interest and Dividends, and click start next to Interest on 1099-INT.

Why is TurboTax applying taxes to my farm income twice? It adds tax when I enter the data in the Schedule F, then again during the final checks.
