To claim the Motor Vehicle Tax Adjustment in the West Virginia portion of TurboTax Online:
- Open TurboTax Online
- Select Tax Home in the left pane
- Select the dropdown to the right of State Taxes
- Select Review/Edit or Pick up where you left off
- Proceed through the state interview until you get to the Motor Vehicle Property Tax Adjustment Credit screen
- You'll be asked whether you received an MV-1 schedule from the West Virginia Tax Division. If you answer yes, the next screen will let you enter your MV-1 data. But when you answer no, you bypass the chance to enter that information.
