We sent clothing to Turkey/Syria & Africa. Not through the Red Cross but through individuals. Can I count that as a deduction?I do not have an address for an organization

Turbo Tax requires an organization name and address for charitable donations. I don't have them for donations we made for earthquake relief in Turkey and aid to people in Africa. Is there some way to count these as a donation?

You can deduct up to $500 in non-cash items without documentation, but you do need to enter a name in TurboTax.

The name could be 'Clothing for Turkey/Syria/Africa' in that case.
