We moved from Texas to Idaho and we want to claim our moving expenses. It is over $10,000 We are NOT military.
If you are not active military on Permanent Change of Station orders, your moving expenses are not deductible on a federal tax return due to the tax code changes in effect for tax years 2018 thru 2025.
