W4 Question. Surprise!

I'm married filing jointly with 2 dependents. Last year, before the new W4 went into effect, the IRS disallowed my withholding status and removed my exceptions because they had not received my last return. My federal W/H went from $544 to $778 on my biweekly check. I cleared up the issue and the IRS sent me a letter lifting all these restrictions. Using the new W4 IRS withholding estimator. I entered all my current salary, withholding, etc. for 2020 but it is telling me I'm getting a refund over $9500. What amount do I enter and WHERE on the new W4 do I enter to get back to the previous W/H of ~$544?

W4 Question. Surprise!

Unfortunately, we do not have full access to all of your household income, credit, filing status, and exemption sources in this public forum, so we cannot give you specific advice on how to fill out your W-4. However, the IRS does have a W-4 calculator on their site that will do the heavy lifting for you. Click here to access it.
