Visa + Child tax credit

I am on H1B work visa; am I eligible for the Child tax credits announced recently? My child was born in May 2021.

Also, since your child was born in 2021, you will want to provide the IRS with updated information via the Child Tax Credit Portal.  Please see following link.  Keep in mind, the IRS is still working on updating the portal and plan to have it fully functioning by the end of summer.
