Using TurboTax Deluxe desktop software, unable to enter Property Tax deduction. It exits back to the Deductions & Credits main screen. Cannot enter property tax.

Seems like a software issue.

I have the Desktop Home & Business program on Windows and  it lets me enter property tax.  Try updating your program.  Go up to Online-check for updates.

Thank you for the response. I should have specified that I am using the MAC version. I do have the latest updates.

I found another discussion with the same issue, and a user said that entering the information directly into Schedule A bypasses the easy step entry problem. This worked for me. Although the original issue is frustrating to deal with...

Entered via Schedule A, but had to go the the TXS&INT worksheet to actually make the enrty.  This is a software error I hope they fix soon.
