Is the gross proceeds form the sale of a vacation home the selling price or the balance due to the seller on the final sellers statement from escrow?
The gross proceeds from the sale of a vacation home is the "selling price" of the vacation home.
Any fees you were charged at closing can be deducted as "selling expenses".
