Subsistence allowance

I cannot transmit my State Tax because SC 1040 does not allow me to type 0 is box s. Subsistance allowance 0 days. Even when I leave everything blank, it will not allow me to e-file.

Yes, box S on Form SC1040 should not have a 0 in it.

Try this:

Click on Tax Tools near the bottom of the left side menu.
Select Tools.
Click on Delete a form.
Look for Form SC1040, on the list, click Delete to the right.
Confirm that you want to delete the form.
Click Continue and start you SC return over. Don't enter 0 in any of the fields, unless it says that you have to answer the question, even if 0.

That didn't work BUT I was able to fix it. I went it and put 1 then went back to that State Income section and everything has to be BLANK. Don't even put a zero in there because the system won't change it to a blank. After I went back and made everything blank, then I was able to leave that subsistence allowance blank also. Now I will be able to file. Finally
