The New Mexico state TurboTax program is not including a state tax withholding from a 1099-R. I created another tax return with same information and it has the withholding included. Can you help explain the issue?

Are you working on this issue? I tried reentering the data and that did not help. Is it something that I did? I am concerned that there may be other glitches that I have not found.
@PJG47 Just to clarify - you have entered in a 1099-R that has state with holding in box 14 but it is not carrying over to the state tax return. However, when you created a second tax return using the same data the with holding DID carry over to the state tax return.
First, make sure that all of the information in boxes 15 and 16 is entered to make sure it is calculating correctly. If it is - delete the entire 1099-R and re-enter it.
If that does not do the trick then it is a good idea to first clear your cache and cookies - which means removing all of the temporary programs that can gum up your web browser. If that doesn't work, try using a different web browser.

You are probably better off having someone walk through the return with you to look at your entries so I recommend getting live expert help.

However, that requires upgrading your product which may be an expense you don't want. In that case you can call an expert and ask questions over the phone.
