No, the IRS does not expect early filers' with Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) and or Additional Child Tax Credit (ACTC) refunds to take longer than February 27th. All approved refunds from EITC and or ACTC will be released for payment on 2/15/2017 and most are expected to be deposited by February 27.
In other words, if you filed early and are expecting a refund from EITC and or ACTC, your refund may not be received within the 21 days or less from acceptance date, because the earliest expected date for EITC and ACTC deposits is February 27. See FAQ below:
