Rv as a second home

I claim my RV as a second home. During 2023 I traded my RV in on a new one. How do I claim the interest on both the traded and the new RV? Also paid sales tax on the new RV how do I claim the sales tax?

You can deduct the interest just as you would if you had a mortgage statement (1098).     Search for 1098, use the jump to link and proceed through the interview - say YES to the 1098 question, so you get the screen to enter the interest.   

Where to Deduct Sales Tax - - At the end of the sales tax interview, you will be asked about major purchases you made during 2023 - this is where you will add the tax on the new RV.
