Resedential Energy Credit?

We added dual zoning (additional trunks, dampers, and thermostat) to the lower level of our house last year to help level out the heating and air usage.  This has cut the monthly electric bills.  Does this qualify for an energy credit deduction on our taxes?

The addition of dual zoning to your HVAC would not qualify for a Residential Energy Credit.  For more information on what does qualify, see the following TurboTax Help Article:
