Hi - I solved this by entering all 1s. The problem kept happening when TT would run reviews at the end of various phases and would send me to more behind-the-scenes documents. I thought I might have to file by mail because TT wouldn't let me finalize without a payer id number. Other people with foreign stock but who receive a 1099-DIV through a broker must have this problem, so please post this work-around. Thanks for your help.
