@gb09 Look for the solution in the thread below, follow the instructions, and see if that resolves your issue.
Hi,
I had the same issue and found a solution.
Double click on the property tax field in turbo tax, and a pop-up form comes up where you can enter amount. This was the only field I entered like this, but it worked.
Not sure why they can't streamline the data entry...maybe for folks with multiple properties??
Cheers!
I am attempting to enter property taxes. I did the search and clicked on "jump to property taxes" but only get a blank screen. This happened last year too. One would think after so many complaints, Intuit would fix this glitch. How/where do I enter property taxes????
All of your input needs to be entered in the Federal section of the return when you are logged into TurboTax.
Unless the property tax puts you over the standard deduction limit, there would be no need to do anything.
Just my $0.02 worth.
i am also unable to enter property taxes
If your Property Taxes are shown on your Form 1098 for Mortgage Interest, you can enter them when you enter Form 1098.
If not, under Deductions & Credits, go to Your Home > Property Taxes.
