The 'Miles driven to get medical care' is flagged as 'must be greater than 0'. However, I have entered supporting details and the miles don't get transferred to the field. This leaves me stuck on this topic as it won't let me go forward and won't let me enter an amount.

Make sure you are not using decimals or fractions. Whole miles only. See if that works.
I'm using TurboTax for the 2021 tax year on MacOS X Big Sur and also am getting stuck on the medical travel page. I didn't even try to enter miles but just clicked Continue. I got the same message as the original poster and clicking Continue still didn't work. I installed the latest updates but Continue on the medical travel page still didn't work. How could such a problem be undetected in program testing?
My workaround was to go to the corresponding form and putting a temporary value of 1 into the miles field (actually, into the details form for the miles field). Still, TurboTax shouldn't throw up such a roadblock for the users, and it's been there since at least last year.
Looks like it still doesn't work correctly, and this is 2025 now.
Do you have the CD/download product? Is it on Windows or Mac?
If you also have a Mac, then please try the work around that wfgriffeth spoke of. Go put a 1 in the fields for medical miles in Forms mode, then go back to step-to-step and try entering it again.
Hi, I have the Windows download version. I think I finally got that to open the supporting details with a double-click. (Normally, I am able to do that with a right-click, as I have done for the last 15-20years.) So, I think I'm ok there. Now, there's the problem with K-1's requiring lots of yes/no check boxes but only during the review after completing the return. Most of them are innocuous, but some make a difference and filling the the empty box during the review often doesn't work, even with a double-click. It seems for these to have to go the form excerpt that is displayed and then you have to open the supporting details to enter the values, often a 0. Oh well, keeps us on our toes.
In the Review when you are presented with a form to make an entry on, it is always safer to go back to the original place to make the entry rather than doing it in the Review.
It's inconsistent with how it works (sometimes the entry in the Review takes and sometimes it doesn't), so I always recommend going back to the regular interview screens (if you know where to look).
