If you are a US citizen living anywhere in the world, you are required to file a US tax return and report and pay tax on your world-wide income.  You will get a deduction or credit for taxes paid in a foreign country.

Since you file a regular US tax return, any version of Turbotax will work that is otherwise suitable (start with Deluxe.  If you have investment income, you may need to upgrade to Premier.  If you are self-employed, you will need to upgrade to the Self-Employed version.). Turbotax Online has a "Live" option at extra cost which gives you video chat with a CPA.  You still prepare and file your own return, but the CPA can help explain and review when you have questions.  You can start out in Deluxe and upgrade as needed.

However, you need a US bank account to receive your refund, unless you want a check mailed, and you need a US credit card to pay the fees.

Federal Income Taxes

U.S. federal income tax brackets range from 10% to 37% for individuals. In Canada, the range is 15% to 33%. In the U.S., the lowest tax bracket for the tax year ending 2019 is 10% for an individual earning $9,700 and jumps to 22% for those earning $39,476. The corresponding bottom Canadian bracket stays at 15% until $47,630. This is the bulk of the reason that lower-income Canadians are often better off than their American counterparts.
