...turbo tax wants me to sign into my mortgage account but I can’t recover the password until normal operating hours Is there a way to input my 1098 info without signing in? I have a paper cop

Yes you can enter the 1098 yourself. You are not required to get it by importing it. Choose "I'll enter it myself"

It is never necessary to connect to a financial institution to enter information into TurboTax. Just chose the option I'll Enter It Myself and use your paper copy.
