Tax Year Prior to 2020: Form 8834 Electric Vehicle Credit for 2019 tax filing

Here's the information about the Form 8834 Electric Vehicle Credit.

TurboTax is telling me that I need 8936 which is still not ready, and has now disappeared from the list of tax forms on which availability is TBD. 

This is extremely frustrating.

Same. 8936 has disappeared from the list and the energy-efficient vehicles section still says 'not ready'. Can someone from Intuit please comment on this? Seems like a bug in the software.

It's Feb. 12 and it's still not available. This is the only thing I'm waiting on in order to finish. When will it be available?

The 8936 form is not available and it disappeared from the list.

Called TT yesterday, they said it should be available by end of the day today. Apparently their coders are working on it.

I feel like a fool for paying already for TurboTax vs H&R or another competitor. Someone from Intuit needs to respond to us ASAP about when these electric vehicle credit forms will be available.

The date when the form would be available for e-file from the IRS has been pushed back. (see: List of available IRS e-file forms.) 

We will provide an update as soon as we are able to do so.

Why are others who went to H&R Block able to file but TT is not?

New update (10AM PST 2/12/20)

Form 8834 will be in this week's release.  I do not yet have an exact date/time.

I have this post on my watch list today and will return this afternoon to let you know what I have learned, or sooner if I get confirmation of a release date.  

I apologize for the delays and all of the confusion about this form.
