For Federal Taxes->Deductions & Credits->Retirement and Investments, does my employer's contribution to my retirement count?

In Turbo Tax Deluxe for MS-Windows, For Federal Taxes->Deductions & Credits->Retirement and Investments, it asks:

"Did you have any retirement contributions or investment expenses for 2022?"

My employer makes pre-tax contributions to my 401-K (shows up in my W2).   Is the above question asking about this kind of retirement contribution?

No, your contributions to your 401(k) are already reported on your W-2 in box 12 and all you need to do is enter your W-2.

If you made additional IRA contributions (traditional or Roth) you will enter them in the IRA contribution section.

  1. Click on "Search" on the top right and type “IRA contributions”
  2. Click on “Jump to IRA contributions"
