Estimated Tax Payments

I made some estimated tax payments during Q3 2022. I was able to input the payment amount via:

Federal > Deductions & Credits > Estimated taxes - Estimated Tax Payments - Federal estimated taxes for 2022 (Form 1040-ES)

Amount of taxes owed did get adjusted accordingly. However, TurboTax never asked me for the estimated tax payment transaction's confirmation number provided by the IRS. Do I need to provide the confirmation number somewhere to TurboTax to facilitate the IRS to find my estimated tax payment?

Estimated Tax Payments

No,

everything the IRS does is tracked by Social Security Numbers, including Estimated Payments.

The confirmation number is for your convenience and not needed by TurboTax, it is not reported on your tax return.
