where are you able to actually see the line on the tax return. in turbo I just answer the questions and it fills it in somehow/where but how would I see it before submitting it?
I purchased TurboTax Deluxe software at an office supply store. This is what many refer to as the “desktop” version. The screens in my version are different from those if you are signing in online at TurboTax and doing your returns directly with them.
First thing......File>Save your return! Next, if you are using the Deluxe CD version, go up to View at the top of your screen, click on it and you will see a checkmark next to Step-by-Step. Under that is Forms. Click on Forms and down the left side of the screen will appear a long list of all the forms and worksheets that generated as you worked your return. Near the top of this list is the 1040 and if you click on it, the 1040 will show on your screen. Look for the $300 on line 10b.
There are a couple other ways to get to your Forms but this is the simple way for me. You can look over all your worksheets that TurboTax filled in during your Step-by-Step entries. If you would like to print out any worksheet on your screen, along the very bottom of your screen you will see Print.
Good luck!
THANK YOU! This worked!
