Can I claim an apartment fire that mostly was a complete loss of personal property and had to move. I had no renters insurance. What do I need to provide?

Unfortunately, no. The abililty to deduct amounts for Casualty and Theft were repealed with the tax reform that began in 2018. Unless you were in a Presidentially Declared Disaster Area, you can no longer deduct your losses.
