If you received two Forms 1098, you can enter both as one. Just add the amount of interest together.

You can also answer the interview questions that no cash was taken out.

The law changed concerning the Home Mortgage Interest Deduction several years ago and the 1098 doesn't always provide all the information the program needs.

In your situation, you won't be limited simply because the lender issued two forms.
