Can I make sure my taxes were updated with my new federal return on the free app? If so where do I look? Because I’m the app

it says my old federal return versus what the updated says once I updated my child tax credit.

The child tax credit is not available in the free version of the mobile app.  You would need to update to the Deluxe version within the app to utilize the benefits of the child tax credit.

You can verify your information is entered into the mobile app by selecting

1. Federal
2. Deductions & Credits
3. Under All Tax credits, select You and your Family
4. Select Child and other Dependent Tax Credits

How do I get to the deluxe  version because I did update my taxes one time and the free version gave me higher amount and displayed it, but where do I look for the deluxe option?

The version you are using is displayed in the upper left-hand corner of your screen below the TurboTax logo.

You can also find out this way:

1. Select Tax Tools on the left side of the screen and then Tools.
2. A Tools Center box will pop up on your screen.
3. Select the My Fees box on the right.

Tip: If these instructions don't work (for example, on your mobile device) open the File section and then proceed to the Review Your Order screen. This also shows the breakdown of your charges.
