Please help me delete form 1116

I initially entered foreign tax paid on my 1099-DIV and started down the path of filling in form 1116.  I decided against it and went on to finish filing.  It will not allow me to proceed as I have partial info still on form 1116.  Please forgive my ignorance on these matters so my terminology is probably all wrong.  How do I delete form 1116 altogether? I'd really appreciate the help.

To Delete:

For TurboTax Desktop, switch to Forms (Upper right corner) 

TurboTax Online:

Select Tax Tools on the left side-bar

Select Tools from that drop-down

Select “Delete a form” on the TOOLS CENTER screen

Select the Form 1116 and delete
