need to know what is considered personal care since that seems to be a reason that costs cannot be deducted

do you need an official sign document to be considered chronically ill for LTC to be deductible

What is considered personal care when in a nursing home and can nursing home costs be deducted from taxes

No you do not have to be chronically ill, however, the move to the nursing home must be due to medical reasons for medical care with the recommendation from a doctor.
