My w2 has $650 charity listed in box 14, which was for payroll deducted donations through 2017. Do I add this amount to my Charitable contribution deductions?

No--when you entered your W-2 and entered the amount in box 14 it went to the charity donation section. If you enter it again it will be entered twice. Never re-enter something that you already entered from a W-2.

This assumes you did enter the Box 14 amount and labeled it a charitable contribution in the drop down box.

how can i check that? when i was reviewing my return it did not show the amount in the charity donation section. can i check what i entered off my W2?

You can look back at your W-2 information in Federal>Wages & Income and see if you entered the box 14 information correctly. When you enter a W-2 you should enter it EXACTLY as it appears.
