My grandmother and mother got the advanced child tax credit last year for my kids. But I am claiming them on my taxes. How do I enter that information?

How did both of them get the credit?   More than one child and they "shared" who claimed them or something?

If you are claiming your children you enter them as dependents in My Info.

Make sure you have entered your child as a dependent in My Info, and that you have entered the child's Social Security number. If your child was born in 2021make sure you said he lived with you the whole year.  There is an oddly worded question that asks if the child paid over half their own support.  Say NO to that question.

The software will automatically give you the CTC and the 3rd stimulus payments for claiming the children.  But you still MUST go through the questions in Federal Review and answer all of them.

Under the safe harbor rule if all had low enough income, no one pays it back.

That's Build Back Better except it is all borrowed money.

No wonder Biden is losing.

Manchin is displeased.
