Mortgage Interest

You purchase a Condo in 2020 and it is mostly cash but you take out a margin loan against the securities you own for $150,000 in order to meet the full purchase price of 1.5 million. In 2021 you decide to take out a mortgage to pay off the margin loan which was fully used to purchase the condo. Is the mortgage interest on the 2021 mortgage deductible when you would be preparing your 2021 return in 2022?
