Sounds like there may be an error in your entries. Here's how to review these entries in TurboTax Online:

1) In TurboTax Online, enter 1098 into the search field (magnifying glass) in the upper right of your screen.

2) Select the Jump to 1098 button. Follow the guided interview to review your entries.

Mortgage interest

Some TurboTax customers were experiencing an issue with their Home Mortgage Average Balance. This can cause the Home Mortgage Interest to be incorrectly limited

We have added some in-program help to assist with the entering of your home mortgage information.
