Long Term Disability premium same as Long term care insurance?

I pay a premium for Long Term Disability at my job, is this the same as Long Term Care insurance where you can claim in Maryland to receive a credit?

No. LTD replaces your income when your cannot work due to a disability. LTC covers nursing home and related expenses.
