I am now divorced, but still need to file "Married, filing separately" --- my former wife cut off ALL communication with me, so I have no idea if she chose standard or itemized reduction. I'm working through the tax questions the best I can with the limited knowledge I have of only my side. Are you guys gonna have my back in defending my tax documents with the given circumstance? haha

TT is a computer program, not a CPA firm. It goes by what you enter, but cannot certify that those entries are correct.

Please try to communicate with your ex, as she also needs your info to do her 2016 return.  Or ask your divorce attorney to intervene.
