Do I put my real estate taxes on both my home mortgage and my home equity loan?

It depends -

If the loans are with the same lender and the real estate taxes being reported are for the same amounts, then just make sure that you are not taking a double deduction for the same real estate taxes. If the forms each report the same real estate taxes, just report one amount under the home mortgage section.

Otherwise, you can claim all real estate taxes paid during the tax year being reported on both forms.

If you have any concerns with the amount of real estate taxed being reported, then you may want to contact your lender.

To enter home mortgage interest and property tax information in TurboTax, log into your tax return (for TurboTax Online sign-in, click Here and click on "Take me to my return") type "Schedule a" in the search bar then select "jump to Schedule a". TurboTax will guide you in entering this information.
