We made changes to your tax return that changed the amount of your refund. You will receive a notice that explains the changes we made to your tax return. You should receive your notice and the balance of your refund.

We changed the amount claimed as Recovery Rebate Credit on your tax return. The error was in one or more of the following: The Social Security number of one or more individuals claimed as a qualifying dependent was missing or incomplete. The last name of one or more individuals claimed as a qualifying dependent does not match our records. One or more individuals claimed as a qualifying dependent exceeds the age limit.

what happened??

Wait for the notice instead of just looking at the generic message on the IRS site  :   https://www.irs.gov/newsroom/irs-letters-explain-why-some-2020-recovery-rebate-credits-are-different-than-expected

You’ll need to follow the directions in the letter you received to dispute the adjustment.  Make sure you follow the instructions exactly, and be aware of whatever time-frame is noted for contesting the decision.

You should try calling the phone number on the letter, but be aware that there may be a significant wait time, if you get through, at all.  You can also respond by mail.

See TurboTax Help article I got a letter or notice from the IRS for help in understanding the notice you received.  If you don't see your notice listed there, go to the IRS Notice or Letter page for more help.
