Is there a way to file for 2018 to claim my expenses/mileage for a Financial Advisor that generates commissions that's all W-2 without filing as self-employed? Thanks!

Unfortunately, there no longer is.

Job-related expenses for employees are no longer deductible under the new law.  Please see the TurboTax FAQ "Can employees deduct any job-related expenses?" below for more information.
