In Michigan does dhs send out a form for the childcare coverage? How does filing with childcare being covered work?

Dhs paid for our childcare for the entire year, but we have not received a form with any information. Do we need to file childcare expenses or no(since we technically had none) ?

Since DHS paid the child care, you do not have to enter the information- you cannot claim the child care credit since you did not make the payments.

I'm not claiming my dependant this year but I paid for childcare. How can I claim this if the ssn is the same as my coparent who did claim her?
