Im living abroad and receive foreign income. i pay student loans in the US and was wondering if I could get a tax refund from my loan interest.

Im living abroad and receive foreign income. i pay student loans in the US and was wondering if I could get a tax refund from my loan interest.
Student loan interest paid is not refundable. It is entered on a tax return as an adjustment to income, reducing the amount of your adjusted gross income, thereby reducing your taxable income and your tax liability (if any).
