If I do not have a mortgage, but this wont let me past this point how can I finish my taxes with out adding a mortgage?

Open your return and click on Deductions & Credits, then click on "Edit/Add" next to Mortgage Interest, Refinancing, and Insurance (Form 1098). From there you can delete any mortgage  (click the trash icon) that is listed so you can move on with the return.
