I own a semitruck and I am the driver, I want to deduct the expenses and depreciate the Volvo semitruck, but turbo tax self employed is show it as a car or truck. I want to make sure i am putting this information in the right area of the tax form.

DO NOT TRY TO ENTER THE TRUCK IN THE VEHICLE EXPENSES SECTION ... IT DOES NOT WORK FOR A SEMI.

Instead you need to enter the expenses in the misc section  where you can make up your own categories for fuel, repairs, tolls, etc.   and then you must enter the truck as an asset which is a 3 year property.
