I never received anything from claiming a dependent on my tax return. Should I be getting a child tax credit?

I filled out some paperwork from the Department Of Treasury and mailed it back because they stated that I didn't get enough money back on my tax return. I also didn't receive my child tax credit deduction which is odd because I put her information on my taxes. When will the IRS get back to me?

When will the IRS get back to me? Eventually ... it could take weeks/months ... and if you read the notice carefully they would have said "may" be eligible so no matter what you sent nothing may come of it.
