I'm a grubhub driver and I need to input my gas milage expenses. Turbotax does not have an option for this as it states it can only be applied to a W2.

If you are an employee, you cannot deduct mileage or any other employee expenses because of the new tax law.

If you are self-employed, you can include your vehicle expenses, along with other expenses and income on your Schedule C.  Please follow these steps:

1. Click on Income and Expenses and then click the Start/Revisit box in the Self-Employment section.
2. On the Here's your [business] info screen, scroll down to the EXPENSES section.
3. If Vehicle is not listed there, click on the box Add expenses for this work.
4. On the Tell us about any expenses screen, scroll down through the categories, mark an appropriate radio button and click Continue at the bottom of the screen.
5. After entering information on that expense, you will be returned to the Expenses screen so you can select another expense category.
