HSA and dropped coverage question

My husband has an HSA through his employer. He and I are covered by a high deductible plan from his employer.  It's my understanding that when we opened the HSA it had to be in his name only because he is the employee.  So I list the HSA as under his name.  But when I go through the questions and get to questions about me I say family plan just like him, then is says sometime during the year I let my coverage lapse??  Now if I check the HSA belongs to both of us it doesn't come up that my insurance lapsed sometime.  Either way doesn't effect the refund/or amount owed. Just crazy insurance on me never lapsed.  How do I answer this.

you do not have an HSA so you do not have your own family plan.  only he needs one to cover you.  see if there is an 8889-S in the return. if so delete it.  the 8889-T should indicate family coverage,

Open or continue your return in TurboTax.
In the left menu, select Tax Tools and then Tools.
In the pop-up window Tool Center, choose Delete a form.
Select Delete next to the form/schedule/worksheet in the list and follow the instructions.

Thank you for the info.. I'm not sure what happened but after I asked the question and went back on and tried different scenarios and then put back my original answers  it resolved itself.  All is good.. Thank you 🙂
