How to get a dollar amount donation receipt from salvation army???? I know they have their online list but how do I get the documented amount from them? Donation = $1000

So a relative died and I need to donate but get a receipt of the amount because it's a lot. Like: furniture dishes, clothes, dvds, etc.... How do I get the written amount confirmed through the salvation army when they pick up everything???????

The Salvation Army, or any other organization that accepts item donations, will not assign a value to the donation. It's up to you to determine the value and support your valuation. Keep an itemized list of what you donate, pictures, etc., and documentation of how you determined the value.
