How to delete home sale?

For online versions:

• Sign into your return and select the 'take me to my return' button
• Select Tax Tools, Tools, then Delete a Form 
• Scroll the forms list for the Home Sale Wks and delete

For desktop versions: Use Forms mode in upper right corner of your screen. Then scroll forms on the left to locate the worksheet.

Note: You may also need to delete a Schedule D/Form 8949 if the home sale is the only entry on these forms and it gets hung up in the transmission. Do not delete if you have other asset sales reported on these forms.
