How long we have to wait to file the 2017 Tax return including form 8936 (Electric Vehicle Tax Credit

Form 8936, Qualified Plug-in Electric Drive Motor Vehicle Credit will be available in TurboTax by 3/8/18.

This tax credit was recently extended and the IRS is working fast to make Form 8936 available to taxpayers and TurboTax.   

The credit for electric vehicles applies to vehicles acquired before January 1, 2018.

@wsmcuba The IRS has released Form 8936.  The form will be available in TurboTax by 3/8/18.
