Charitable Donations are entered under "Deductions & Credits" then scroll down to "Charitable Donations"
If you end up Itemizing Deductions (rather than taking the Standard Deduction) this amount will transfer to your Schedule A.
Other amounts that transfer are things like Mortgage Interest you paid, State Income or State Sales Tax, Medical expenses, as well as several other deductible expenses you had over the year.
IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR THE 300/600 CHARITABLE CONTIBUTION which is ADDED to the Standard Deduction, DO NOT enter the contributions under Deduction & Credits. At the review stage of your return (the VERY end, the program will ask you for that amount). You may claim up to $300 of cash contributions you made or $600 if Married Filing Joint.
