How do I claim the additional child tax credit I'd I find early

There is not an additional tax credit for 2023. There are proposed changes making it's way through the government for 2024, but nothing has been done for 2023. If there would happen to be an increase for 2023, then the IRS would likely make the adjustment and send you a check like they did in years past when returns have been processed and changes were made.
