How do I change my medical insurance and HMO premiums paid on my federal.

It says I paid 1000 on my state and i cant edit it and i cant find it anywhere on federal

If you have not already filed, you are able to go back and make adjustments to any part of your return.. see below for details.

It is in the Federal Taxes area. Go to Federal Taxes -> Deductions & Credits -> Medical -> Medical Expenses. This asks "Want to Enter Medical and Dental Expenses?" to which you need to reply Yes. There are 3 pages: normal medical expenses like prescriptions, the second page contains medical travel expenses, and finally the moment of truth medical insurance premiums

Once you make you changes, it will allow you to follow through and complete your Filing.  Hope this helps....
