How do I carry over foreign tax credit? I do not have foreign income in 2024.

Hi, this is my first year filing with Turbotax. Could someone please tell me how do I carry over foreign tax credit? I do not have foreign income in 2024 but would like to carry over the unused portion of the credit from 2023, it was carried over on my 2023 return (not Turbotax) and I would like to continue to carry over on my 2024 return as well. How do I easily do it without getting into questions about foreign income because I have none in 2024. I just want to carry over the foreign tax credit. Is there a simple way to do this?

In TurboTax Premium Online, enter foreign tax credit carryover by following these steps:

1. Down the left side of the screen, click Federal.
2. Down the left side of the screen, click Deductions & credits.
3. Click the down arrow to the right of Estimates and Other Taxes Paid.
4. Click to the right of Foreign Tax Credit.
5. Follow the screens but do not create the credit.
6. At the screen Carryovers or Carrybacks, select Yes.
